Corpocracy: (kor-POK-ruh-see) noun- A society in which corporations control the government. Other ten dollar words are: Oligarchy (ol·i·gar·chy) noun-. a government in which a small group exercises control especially for corrupt and selfish purposes and Plutocracy (plu·toc·ra·cy) noun-, a form of oligarchy where society is ruled or controlled by the small minority of the wealthiest citizens. No- none of these are democratic, part of a Democracy, or represent any form of a free society. This is, however, the USA (Un-united States of America.) Barack Obama was the last president of the union most of us were born into. The body politic exists for some time as a money making scheme where the best skilled cheaters get the job and the corrupt business corporations keep them on as unofficial employees.

What state legislatures will have the courage to stand up and say “enough.” The States United was an experiment, after all. Most experiments fail especially over time; the color fades, the potency diminishes, and the purity of the elements becomes tainted.

The usual off-handed replies are that we can always vote our politicians out off office. That is not true when politicians gerrymander to get into and stay in the offices they hold. We are a country ‘Of, By, and For the People.’ This too is a fabrication when our partizan divided judiciary deemed corporations are people too and with the “Citizen’s United” decision states that these created people are not limited through one deceptive loophole or another to make unlimited contributions without identification. These Frankensteins can afford to pay any price to attain legislation in their favor. And, our ‘Great Again’ country is our most shameful lie. Our nation has never been so Un-great in our national history unless you are making that calculation on ego. The fact is we are the shame of the world. From the “Land of the Free- The Home of the Brave” we have become the poster-child of what not to be.

“United we stand- divided we fall” worked as a good catch phrase as long as we are able to find some common ground to enable us to stand and work together. That is no longer the case. The fifth word is Fascism: (fa-ˌshi-zəm) noun- a form of radical authoritarian nationalism, characterized by dictatorial power, forcible suppression of opposition. Unless there is a disassociation based upon states’ ideologies, well-then, we will fly the spirit of the flag I downloaded and presented at the beginning of this blog. We will become part of a Dystopia (dis-ˈtō-pē-ə) noun- an imaginary place where people lead dehumanized and often fearful lives, however for us, it won’t be so imaginary.
