The Emperor has no clothes

Well thanks to the majority of decent women in this country the veil has finally been pulled off the Republican Presidential candidate. He is no being revealed by those he has denigrated, abused, belittled and sexually molested for years. It is only fitting that he be undressed by those he has little or no respect for and while running against a woman. Can you imagine the torment of having to endure losing the one position on this planet you have always wanted and you end up losing it to a woman? If there is any doubt that this is "locker room" talk only I think we will have plenty of factual evidence before the week is out. I think everyone of us has either been subjected to this sort of abuse of power at work or in our lives and if it wasn't us personally we know someone who has. The feeling of guilt and remorse associated with this sort of attack is life long and painful. I pity those that can't feel empathy for the women who have had to work or live with this monster over the years. We all need to thank the women in this country for finally standing up and doing what is right.

  • I honestly don't see any way that Trump can now win this election. Yes, Bill Clinton dealt with somewhat similar issues in 1992 and still won, but in his case the allegations came out in like December/January, way before the election, and had already been dealt with. Trump is facing this only a month before, and he was already in trouble before this emerged. At this point, the goal is just to stay competitive enough that the GOP doesn't lose the Senate and House, too.

  • buzbuz Enough with this shit what Bill Clinton did. Bill Clinton isn't running for president. If you want to vote for that hemorrhoid of a candidate go ahead, but stop blaming Bill Clinton. The republican nominee is a narcissistic and paranoid individual who will do nothing for you or the United States. I personally don't even think he wants to be president. The job is way below his standards. The White House is a tiny shack compared to his 86,000 foot mansion in the sky. My biggest worry is what happens on Nov 9th when Hillary is elected president. He's put some deplorable ideas in some pretty deplorable minds.

  • Trump basically invited this by claiming during the second debate that he had never actually groped a woman. Well, predictably, now FIVE women have come forward claiming groping incidents with Trump: Two in a New York Times report, and one each in People magazine, The Palm Beach Post and a CNN report.

The Trump campaign says they are lying and said of one that you can tell she's lying -- just look at her.

Judge for yourself. The odds are that not all of these women are exaggerating or outright lying.

And again, whatever Bill Clinton did does not excuse Trump's behavior. And from what I've read, the right is greatly exaggerating Hillary's attacks on the "other" women.

  • Barney290, let's not forget the women that Bill Clinton took advantage of thru his power and position and then the abuse they endured by Hillary trying to defend her abusive husband. Doesn't matter who you support but you must acknowledge both sides and perhaps the country should be more interested in the polices of these two candidates than the smut of old aligations.
And as far as your statement "to endure losing the one position on this planet you have always wanted and end up losing it to a woman." Losing it to a woman?? isn't that part of your statement terribly sexist Shame on you Barney when you claim to be such a supporter of equal rights for women...
