Hell, yes, cartoons can be sexy! I thought the same thing about the lumberjack & bear ad campaign ... it's cute and fuckin' hot at the same time! I think it's the simple, open, almost innocent line-drawing style -- contrasting with that subliminal sexy subtext.
By the way, have you seen Duluth Trading Co.'s campaign for "Legendary," "Free-Swinging" flannel? It features an illustration of a really hot Paul Bunyan character suggestively swinging an ax. It doesn't look like the same artist to me as the lumberjack-bear illustrations, but somebody at DTC seems to be targeting our very specific demographic!
@BearCub4--those are funny. One of the promo ads following the commercial you posted caught my eye. The TBRU underwear auction in Dallas, TX. It states that "models from Dallas and all over, not one size fits all." Indeed! Were you one of those models flashing by? Woof!
