The phrase "How are you doing?"....

...is my BIGGEST pet peeve. It lacks imagination and is a definite tell tale that someone is trying to scam me. SMH

  • To say how are you doing to me is tip off unless I say hi there how's your day or such how you doin like Joey from friends or something asking for something if then I try to do anything to do anything to tell the answer with a question so then it changes my vocabulary

  • I think it is usually a scam, but if not, it is a true tale sign of a long and boring conversation!!

  • A lack of imagination is prevalent through all these 'hook-up' sites. The onus of finding those who have that level of creativity sought after is on the one who seeks it. Personally, I have little to no interest or am desperate enough to fall for the scammer’s ‘come-ons,’ the shy who simply give a 'Wink' or those who think that “SUP” is a cool introduction. It’s not nor is responding to “Let’s chat… what’s your EMail address and phone number… I don’t feel comfortable here.” ‘I’ don’t feel comfortable with those requests nor those who make them. I have made plenty of chat friends and have had fun in person with a number of them. Even after a considerable amount of time when contact information may comfortably be given out most of us more often communicate using the site. It adds a layer of innuendo to the dialogue. That too is an element of creativity.
