Guys, if you want less scammers on the site, then STOP sending them money please

Its like giving food to birds, then complaining about all the birds hanging around.
Ive run this site since 2008 and gotten dozens of messages from guys who have sent $50, $100, $500, $1000, over $1,000 (wow), gifts, plane tickets to strangers on the internet they never talked to, and then somehow was surprised the person was fake.
Dang, I can't get someone to buy be an ice cream lol.

Im sorry to say but there are people who will a photo of Zan Efron on the site they WILL think that either
A. Zac Efron joined the site and is messaging them for a relationship
or
B. A hot young man is hitting them up saying "you are the one, send me a plane ticket and we can be together".

Guys, please, do not send money to people unless you want to throw that money into the garbage.
Then you give them money, that encourages them to make MORE fake accounts .

Why are there scammers on the site? Cuz you give hem money! lol

Check this shit out:
Donald cute (picture above), soon as I saw the pic I could tell it was fake, yet he got 46 messages from you guys before I could find it and ban him.

I do my best but you have to step back a second and say "hmmm....does this drill sargent sationed in Iraq REALLY want me to marry him after 2 messages, or does he want something"?

  • So pathetic why all these people are doing this for money.

  • Why anyone would send money to someone they have never met is beyond me. Use your head guys.

  • I've been messaged by Garynevile10 several times. The user writes his entire message in the subject line, not even progressing to the body. He explains how he likes my profile, but if he'd actually gone through it, the age range I prefer doesn't match his. Also, his profile has some suspicious English:
"i'm a perfect gentle man who work as a real estate management."

I never respond, just delete every message i get from him.

  • UPDATE, you show the profile of Donald Cute and said you banned him. I stated that I was chatting with this guy recently and his profile is now Domaldcute01, did he fool you Mark and put up a new profile with the same pic and added the "01?"

  • Donald cute contacted me, and as soon as I saw the pic I thought that he was a user. We chatted over several messages and by email. No matter what negative response I threw at him, it was acceptable. He claimed my honesty was inspiring. He gave up after I told him what I liked to do for sex. He never asked for any money, yet you say you banned him but as far as I can see is that he is still active on here and you can still send him a message. Daddyjim1

  • FYI another scammer from my own personal experience and not hear say was a person with the ID MAME93700 I was fairly sure from the start that he was a fraud, but it was not positive until he needed help in getting $$$$XXXX amount of gold out of Africa and wanted me to work with the shipper, well I would hate to say how many times that has been used by dozens of scammers. I have blocked him so I am not sure if he is still a member on the site.

  • Has happened to me, 11 years ago & anyone that makes any overture for money, invest, use the line "trust me" I call them out & they usually never message again. Guys in Nigeria, Romania, Ghana do this for a living. The amount of fake photos is astounding.

  • How do we notify you when we are being hit on by an obvious scammer ?

  • Ok people it shouldn’t be the web master protecting you, you have to do it yourself! Remember what your mom taught you, if it’s too good to be true it is! Or let the buyer beware!!!

This isn’t only a big problem on this site but on all sites and even MTV came out with a show called cat fishing and should be a must see show if you do online dating.

If someone asks you for any kind of money run, if they say there cell phone is broken and can’t text or kik or what app, run,, if they say their computer is old and can’t do a video call run! Also if they say they are in the Military question it and then run!

If they ask for an airline ticket, tell them you will send a none refundable one way ticket, that mean they or you can’t cash it in, and see how fast they run and if you do make it a southwest airline you know a 99 ticket lololol
NEVER EVER GIVE OUT CREDIT CARD INFORMATION< OR PAY PAL, or BANK INFORMATION

If a person is local to me wants to meet I always meet in person in public and only after I get a number to text them on, people there are too many people fucked up!
